Are you not also that guy that said The Edge was the best guitarist of our generation??? ;D ;D that sorta depends on what generation you put U2 IN there debut was in the eary 80s so if thats the case even though i am not crazy about the band eddie van halen would be the top guitarist ..as when u2 debuted he was in his 20s if ya wanna say your generation is in bands that debuted in the 90s its tough but this texan named KENNEY WAYNE SHEPPARD OR this other geezer JOHNNY LANG are quite tasty..imo

Noel? lol LOL - When I think of great guitarists I think of shredders that just rip the ass off of the axe. It all depends on your musical taste. I remember when Nirvana came out and they had polls in Circus Magazine for best guitarist. Kurt Cobain was the winner. Go figure. I still think the boys from Pearl Jam are some of the best. I don't really have an answer for you.

I don't really have an answer for you. For the eighties..Id say stevie ray Vaugn is best. Since there werent many great prominent guitarists in the 90's, u Could make a case for the edge...but thats still not sayin that much
