I'll try to post this gem for you around 4pm NYC time
Here are some of the details:
Album will be mastered on Friday
Noel refused to reveal titles for the single or album.
Album release May 26 and single two weeks or so before that.
He wrote 6 songs , Liam wrote 3 Andy 3 Gem 2
Amazed at how the Garden sold out.
A lot of joking around how he looks three years younger and is sharp as ever.
Getting along with Liam who's got the flue.
Will try to play a lot of new material
Gig will be 20 songs deep.
Liam and him are getting along ,,, he said NO PROBLEMS

Very interesting. Kinda confused about the May 26 album release date, considering many sources have been saying May 16/17.

20 songs for th concert is pretty decent..... but why is the single not gonna be out until two weeks before the album!?!?!? that doesnt seem right at all  |

Noel's interview with Krock
Noel Gallagher called into New York's Rock Radio Station K-Rock today for a very light hearted interview with DJ Booker. Laughing a lot Noel had very few new things to say but seemed to be looking forward to the sold out show at Madison Square Garden.
Here area few key things mentioned:
Noel was amazed the Garden sold out so fast. He said he looks 3 years younger since his last visit here and is as sharp as ever. The new album will be mastered and finished this friday but he did not want to reveal any titles. He confirmed a May 26 release date and expects the single to be released early May.
The band will rehease about 20 songs for the tour and is still working on a set list. Noel would prefer playing a lot of new material but said the classics such as Wonderwall, Don'd Look Back in Anger, and Champagne Supernova would be included in the show. Asked wether him and Liam were gonna keep it together long enough to actually show up Noel replied he had spoken to Liam who's fighting a flue today and that there were No problems.

the ear has no memory( maybe) ,still chosing between 2 songs for first single.
some songs sound like oasis,some dont
i thought he didnt sound too confident on new album
20 songs on new setlist
will dig deep for new setlist

think NOEL meant the release date in the usa its always 1 week later so the date makes sense in that regard no, usually everything is released on a MONDAY in the UK, and the next day, TUESDAY in North America the 26th is a thursday...... BHN was released on a thursday still, that better not be the album title |

i live in NYC i heard him say "the ear has no name" as others did. Download off krock and update your release. no longer using this for news. you missed the fan release and now the album title PEACE

he said it was a working title "ear has no memory"
the single will be released 2 weeks before album and they havent decided which will be the first single. and they will be mastering the album on friday this week.
so i would think it'll be leaked sometime in next 2 weeks

no, usually everything is released on a MONDAY in the UK, and the next day, TUESDAY in North America dont think so mate..i know 4 a fact HC WAS NUMBER 1 in its 1st week of release in the uk.and it didnt drop til the next week in the usa as i bought it the first day it came out your right about the tuesday but it was a week after the uk release ,,,anyway thats trivial bullshit really as long as its out im happy |
