if you like jet or not, i really don't care, personally i do, but either way they are the best thing that can happen to Oasis here in the United States. Jet is played on every station all the time, and now all my friends who love jet and lost touch with oasis are mad fer it again!! look how fast new york sold out, and i guarantee the west coast, californai, cvegas, ect.. will do the same. so bottom line, if you want to see oasis album sales back up in the US, Jet was the best call for support!

..........Jet wasn't even announced as support in most places until after tickets went on sale. The reason Oasis sold out msg and other venues is because of their popularity, not because of the popularity of Jet. If Jet were more popular, it would be Jet headlining not Oasis.

no, im just saying that there are a ton of youngsters here in the us who need a good shot in the arm of oasis, since they only know wonderwall and champaign supernove, and jet may be one more way to get them exposed to the best band ever!. Of coure oasis is the main draw, but jet is a great rock and roll combo. now which one of you pikers wants to fight!!!!!! hehehe

the thing is, there is only a small percentage of people going to Oasis' n.a. tour to see Jet. There are never a lot of people going just to see an opening band.

I agree totally, but im afraid a band that does get as much air play as Jet will try to play too long of an opening act. Like you said everyones there to see Oasis, and personally I would prefer Jet not to be opening. Just for the reason I believe they do think theyre very popular and are there for going to try to capitalize on the large crowd (who really couldnt care less about them being there)

Just want to add that its not that I dislike Jet, its that I just want to see Oasis play as long as possible.
