I think get born is a good album, and they are whole alot better then corner shop in 98. and i think jet are just as good as TSOOL and the black crows. The bands over here in the states for the most part are awful. Jet is probally one of the few bands they play over here on a regular basis who i have been able to tolerate in a while.

good, im glad to see im not the only one, i was starting to think, i was loosing taste with most of the people who like most of the same bands i do, not that i give a shit anyway, i like whatever i want but for the most part it seems all oasis fans usually like the same type of bands.

jet are ace........ saw jet at the horseshoe in toronto way back...... ( before 'are you gonna be my girl' ) proper rock and rollers - like oasis they are also big oasis fans
'get born' might be the best debut r.n.r album since D.M. working class australian lads havin' a ball.... dreamin' for a better day............. and gettin' it..... good on em'
the next jet album will be their morning glory! look out!
oasis are still better............ lol

.....sorry mate, nothing shite about jet...... they have rockers, ballads, epics, trippy tunes... and a couple of north american radio hits just like oasis..........they even have great b sides, and rock live!
they are a proper no bullshit r.n.r. band......... that truley speaks to the common person........................
my indie friends hate them......... but fuck em' as soon as oaisis became top 40 during the 'morning glory' days they dropped them too.............. ...... i actually know i guy who has seen 'jet' 4 times live but now thinks their shit.............. give me a fuckin' break...... you indie music snob............ just because its over played or people catch up on it 6 months after you do, does not mean its shite............ it just means your just listening to music for the wrong reasons........... anyways..........
oasis and jet both write good music that people can relate 2............. end of story, morning glory

Off the top of my head, I think the Strokes 'Is This It' is the best debut Rock N Roll ablum since Def Maybe.
(On a side note, Weezer's Blue Album is also a great debut album)

I saw TSOOL on Conan O'Brien once and going off that I have to be honest and say I'm glad they're not opening. Their music sounds very average to me. Plus the singer's got crummy stage antics and he looks like Bam Margera's dad. Isn't he at least 40 or something?

I like Jet. They're just an opening act... even if I didn't like them I could sit there and get excited about how every note is 1 closer to when our boys come out.

For me Jet makes so much sense. They pinch Iggy Pop, BTO and Pink Floyd.
Oasis pinch Beatles, T-rex and the Bee Gees.
If that isn't a record collection right there, then you need a hormone/beer transfusion.
