It will be interesting to see if they can sell out MSG. I think they'll be able to do it.

lets put it this way, in 98 they played across the river at the continental arena, this was in their hayday. They had EXTREME trouble filling that show, they gave tix away to EVERY CALLER getting through on krock the weekend b4 to fill the arena. BUT things to keep in mind is that, that was a massive tour, people weren't flying from all over for that show, They had awful support in that indian band that was literally boo'ed off stage, this time they have jet who is sadly enough alot bigger in the states now, They have 3 top 40 hits on the radio now. AND MSG is a historic venue, people from over seas will buy tix for this show just cause its NYC and at MSG. Personally i think JET could sell out the MSG alone so b/t the two i think it sells out.

well now that msg sold out in only a matter of hours, does anyone think they will consider playing new york for another night? Dunno - the rumormill says that over 5000 tix were given to radio stations and other promotional giv-aways -- that's a huge number that HELPS *sell out* a venue

Basically MSG is sold out, unless I'm looking at the wrong tix sites. I can't get 2 seats next to each other for MSG. I got Chicago tix though. Gonna have to spend some cash for MSG

i don't see anyway that they would have time to play another show.... they wouldn't play on the 23rd...
they have Boston on the 24th, and Philly on the 25th... that would be 4 nights in a row.... they never do more than 2 on consecutive nights...

nah man doubt it.. they should have trouble selling out the first one. they have a lot of crazy fans in the US but its not a large base. your right sal ,,except in nyc there is a larger base of OASIS fans whenever they come they do smaller venues on multi nights and sell out so it stands to reason they can pull off msg...also there are loads of expats here in nyc that will be going ...if you ever get a chance go to nevada smiths on 3rd ave bet 11 and 12 when england or united play a match youd swear u were in the uk its a great scene......jmo
