i hope i dont sound too asshole-ish, but I think it's a shame that Jet is opening up for the boys, because I've seen them live and was very disappointed. that's just my opinion though.

I'm sure they'll play Letterman and/or O'Brian. They played Conan last time they toured the states.

I personally can't stand Jet.
At all.
Oh well, I will survive.

no matter what, i'm not worrying about the support, because the fact remains that it's fucking oasis. i haven't seen them before, so i am properly stoked.

Someone please tell me they are doing more than those shows? 5 shows in The North. Any others planned?

I don't think so, since they'll be playing the big UK stadium gigs shortly after the north american tour. I'm sure they'll be back in north america in sometime in the fall.

Ok, well you started out by saying I don't think so, but then said they might come back in fall.
You had me scared there. I need to know if they are coming back (anybody) b/c I have seen them in Florida 3 times (twice on one tour) and Atlanta once. I live in Tampa, and although I would travel to say Philly or NYC to see them I would prefer to see them closer by.
What if I don't get tix for any of these 5 shows and they don't come back. I would have to believe they wouldn't let cities like Atlanta, any of the major Florida locations (Tampa, Orlando, or S. Florida) Dallas, St. Louis, LA, SF Seattle etc. go by the way side.
Toronto, NYC, Detroit, Philly & Chicago are not enough. Hell they recorded out in LA.
I'll calm down, but these tix go on sale this weekend and I would have to get airfare and hotel (except philly & NY.....I have places to stay). I just wish they would say "With more North American Dates to follow after UK dates:.
Ugh!

They wonder why they cant break America...look at the cities theyre playin..come on.. Detroit?
I can understand NYC and Chicago...maybe Toronto...but Philly and Detroit...thats shitty hip hop country ...is their next album Rap?
They need to get out West..LA, SF, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston

If you want to make fun of a city that produced the White Stripes, The Jacksons, and Bob Seger that's fine....but not while I'm around. I can vouch for us, we are NOT shitty hip hop country!! What would you Call West L.A. anyways?
