It's no surprise they're playing the Amphitheatre again this summer. They've sold it out every time they've played the amphitheatre.

this is a little off of the subject, but there were rumors that they would also play days in the northeast's major markets such as Philly and Boston. anyone else think that had a chance of happening?

They did play Maple Leaf Gardens in 2000 and sold out with a capacity of about 17-18,000.
I think they could sell out the ACC....why don't they play there?
But.....if the weather is good an outdoor concert in June would be awesome! (Last two times weather has been shit at the ampitheatre!)

God...what do they want to play over there for? I'm not liking the organisation of these dates...i can guarantee i was on of the first people, along with another few thousand, to get ticktes for this tour and the date we see them (2nd July) is one of the last july will not come quick enough...although you shouldn't wish your life away you know?

i dont know much bout vancouver, but i noticed that oasis prefer to play outdoor dates during the summer (hence why they would go for the ampitheatre as opposed to ACC, though when i heard the announcement i thought 'if fucking sloan and sam roberts, 2 bands who opened for oasis, could play olympic island, why cant oasis?), but back to my original point, is there a big outdoor venue in van-city that they would play?

Oasis should come Edmonton, the radio station here doesn't play that much Oasis though. But Edmonton does have alot of loyal Oasis fans. i wish I could contact their people to get a concert here.

But still it should be nice outdoors in june cos that was in may, and i heard that that concerts at the ACC aren't too good anyway. Hmmm but why don't they play the dome? i'm sure if they can get some other decent support bands then they can probably sell 30000-40000 tickets (or am dreaming ?). That would be cool though especially if they had the roof open and the jumbotron going.

Ever since that incident back in 96 in Vancouver, Oasis haven't been too warm to that part of the country.

Ever since that incident back in 96 in Vancouver, Oasis haven't been too warm to that part of the country. True but it is time to forget the past and they should play there.....beautiful place! They filmed the video for Sunday Morning Call there so why not do a concert there? I am near Toronto so it has no effect on me.....just wishing for you guys out there....

Dean Blundell is the DJ for the morning show on edge 102.1 in Toronto. The show is on from about 5am to 9:30. I am never up before 7:30am and usually catch all the announcements between 8-8:30.
The line up for the show looks like it will be a good one especially with the oasis announcement! Frank the video store and Ho' renovations are pretty funny segments....check it out!
