So, I´m sitting in bed reading this book Bag of Bones by Stephen King, one of my favourite writers. And there was this part where the main character was telling the story of Cinderella to this little 3 year old girl.. So, here´s how the story goes: "Once upon a time there was this pretty girl named Cinderella, who had two mean stepsisters. Their names were Tammy Faye and Vanna, the Queens of Hairspray. And they made Cinderella do all these unpleasent chores like sweeping the fireplace, and cleaning up the dog poop in the backyard. Now it just so happens that the noted rock band Oasis was going to play a gig at the palace and although all the girls had been invited..."
Stephen King always makes these kind of references in his books, especially with music and rock n roll bands.. but I had never seen one for Oasis! neat, huh?!!

i'm gonna buy it. what is it like? is it good? If you´re talking about the book.. well yeah its good! it´s Stephen King! But it´s not the best SK book imo.. it has like 750 pages and it takes a pretty good while for things to start happening.. nothing like It, Pet Sematary, Christine, the Shining, Carrie - his classics. But it´s worth a read, anyway.. and that Oasis reference caught me completely off guard.. it was so cool! I was so involved with the sotry and then suddenyl Oasis were playing a gig in cinderella´s castle! lol
