And how and why did he get involved with oasis' new project?

Also i hope Rick Rubin has some involvement with the oasis boys as he's a fucking legend production wise

I don't believe he is involved in the current Oasis project.
Liam and Jeordie seem to get a long and hung out in LA putting some tracks to harddrive... that's about all the info I have on the photo session.
