About a ten minute interview followed by the song live forever.....gotta love it!!
Here is the just of the interview.....I guess I will start with the biggest news first which was one of the last things they talked about.....
Bookie: So when can we expect a new album?
Noel: May 26th and you can quote me on that
Bookie: How about a single?
Noel: Well if you here two singles before the release then you can expect something in March
The rest of the interview they talked about the first time he had seen oasis at the boardwalk (just the 4 of them without Noel). He said none of the songs Liam and crew played have been released because the were awful.
The first song on DM that was recorded. Noel said it was columbia which was supposed to be an instrumental then a few of them added lyrics to it (heard that before as I think Liam helped him with those lyrics). Noel said the last song that was recorded was Slide Away. Bookie said you share the same song title with the Verve. Noel agreed but said his is better!
Talked about playing with Ian Brown. Said his profile has gone through the roof lately....his single to be out Monday.
Bookie asked about having request to use his songs for commercials. Noel said he gets a ton but doesn't do it as he doesn't need the money.
Talked about Weller.....and how he is doing a cover of One Way Road with his own spin to it.
And that was it....I know that May 26th is a thursday not sure when records come out in England (I think it's Thursday) but over here it is Tuesday

I read that BHN was released on a Thursday for sure though yeh it was, and it still became the fastest selling british album in its first week with 4 days in hand, that is mad. Im not sure why it was released on thursday but the album chart in england is on a sunday and albums are released on mondays. Heathen chemistry was definitely released on a monday because it was out on july 1st and i went to see them on july 6th which was a saturday.

that was the first time i saw them, ive seen them 3 times but thats still the best. the atmosphere was incredible, it realy was something else, 50, 000 people that are all into oasis just as much as you. the singing just drowned out the band at times. Even when oasis wernt on and they were playing the roses, the sex pistols and the beatles through the p.a everyone was singing at the top of there voice, it was amazing, best day of my life. You should come and see them in england at big show next time they tour eggy.

yes im planning to do that, but i also actually wanted to come to glastonbury next year but 2 trips a year isnt financially an option. Plus I want to go to america to this girl i moan about in the other section.
But i prefer smaller venues for gigs. Saw the stereophonics for 200 ppl, thrills for 150 or so. zutons for 100 and stands and veils for 500 or so. Those shows are amazing. Its like a big living room.
