Yeah the band is whole. Noel is saying glamorous things about Oasis' future on BBC, but... still no word of Whitey. Rember how he quit? a little bit "in passing" - going for a breakfast and no word for him. But... still nobody tell anything about Oasis turning something like a band of session musicians where Noel and Liam are making castlings. Like they stopped with Bonehead and Guigsy departure and going through the ages I thought that Gem and Andy will cool the things up, because for me they are better musicians than the former. But... now that... And... still no fucking word, neither of Noel, nor of Alan - nobody wants to clarify the things up, to throw a light on how exactly happened that Alan White is not anymore in the band.
Sad thing, aint it? Because these boys when they are in the band - that means they are in "Oasis" - the greatest rock 'n roll band of the '90s. But when they quit - they became nobody. So is the fate of Guigsy and Bonehead... and it seems it's the same for Alan White. You see, I'm not mad about one musician changing place with another of the same quality. I'm mad about the whole fog on the whole story. And I'd like to know it whole. Because I'm fan of Oasis' music for 4 years and I want to know the truth. Because as fans we dezerve to know what is happening with the band - who is in it, who quited, why, when, what he's doing now and etc. Other things are bullshit - fog and so on.

jesus, don't take it too seriously. anyways, whitey sucks. at least they have the best rock drummer out there today in the band now. and that man is zak starkey.
you're an oasis fan. as an oasis fan, get used to members leaving the band. and it's only a band, your best friend didn't die.

White sucks??? Wow, I am thunderstruck at your obvious thickness. How in the hell can you say he sucks, especially after taking the place of someone who did - Tony.

ok, LET ME REPHRASE (that get your attention? lol). this is my oasis drummer chart:
tony: sucks. need i say more?
alan: better, but ehhhhhhhh. at least he could keep beat. a lot of his fills are a bit off. he could also be a bit more passionate. but that's just me.
zak: the best drummer in rock today. listen to the who live at the royal albert hall/oasis at glastonbury or poole and you'll see what i mean. his secret is simple, yet effective: he counters the guitars. it's great.

suck or not suck, whitey was still a key part of the band so it would be nice to hear why the hell he left.

Just wondering what does "counter the guitars" mean?
I'm just curious as I wanted to tell our drummer to do it!

How the fuck you can claim Zak to have been better than Alan is beyond me. He may be a better technical drummer but the bottom line is that Morning Glory and Supersonic sound shit. He doesn't do anything remotely interesting and makes them sound pub rock all the way.

He just plays the hi-hat cymbal over the top of it.

I dont know how anyone can say alan white or tony mcarrol is crap
Tony McCarrol played on Definitely Maybe which most of you say is the best album, so maybe the reason it was so good because the drumming was nice and simple ;D

Dm was about the guitars not the drums, which i suppose u could say the simple beats helped promote the guitars.
personally thats bollox, tony was shit and he will always be shit, seeing him actually play the drums is comical too the way he bobs his head to every beat and how he holds his sticks very retardedly.
alan was superior in every way

i mean... bad drummers, good drummers. everyone has his own style.
ok, tony wasn't good enough but i'm pretty sure he can handle everything most of you guys that have a band play. so he just wasn't good enough for noel probably and he had to go. destiny.
alan was way better i'm pretty sure listening to all the boots & everything... but as i see it he was never really a part of the band - what gallaghers seemed to figure out much later than anyone else who thinks this way...
then zak... different style once again but i think he's amazing - this guy's just pouring his energy over the drums... especially hearing the two new songs he fits the band exactly.
so that's my opinion. why no word of alan? maybe the guys are looking into future, releasing a new record & making the fans proud of them once again, forgetting the past & the problems cause it's just no good. as i see it every new musician that came to oasis was better than his mate before him... so i don't care what's with whitey as long as zak can do it exactly the same way he did it and even better.

I bet if Tony was still around, half of his haters wouldn't say anything. Same goes with Alan.
