......But Oasis failed to live up to their headline billing on Friday night. The band's performance was regarded as lacklustre amid rumours that Liam and Noel Gallagher had had yet another falling out.
Michael Eavis, the festival's organiser, said yesterday that he was "a bit disappointed" with their attitude. "They were in a bit of a mood."
However, Mr Eavis - as he always does - said this year's event was "the best ever". He set the rumour mill buzzing by saying that a "big name" to headline next year's festival had been provisionally signed over the weekend.

i cant understand all the bad reviews. When i was in the crowd everyones general reaction was "WOW". Loads of people went and they all came away saying how good it was, i thought it was great to, oh well .
