Glastonbury was superb, except I think it proved that Liam cannot sing Stop Crying Your Heart Out, it was fuckin awful! Columbia was my highlight.

Were any of the people slating the gig actually there? I was, and it was fantastic (I was pretty wasted though ). I couldn't comment on the vocals as myself and my crew were all singing at the tops of our voices. Each song played was a classic (except the two new ones obviously) and everyone around me was throughly having the time of their life. They weren't the best band of the weekend, that goes to Orbital, but they were still wicked amd I will keep those memories forever. Oasis finished? - Pull the other mate!

if you don't like the band, then you should definitely maybe, find a better place to play. i think the forums for radiohead and starsailor are looking for members.

Oasis are finished? Well they did take a time out for the new album, but the new songs they did play at Glasto were great, the only problem for me being Zac's lazy beat, the rest of them having trouble playing with him etc. I personally have never liked Zac's drumming, especially on Marr's record it was absolute bollocks... a good drummer & Noel writing better songs (what the time out's about) => they're not finished. I'm a believer.

I agree with Bulla. If you actually watch the gig you'll realise it aint ALL about Liams voice (which everyone has been slating) its about the sound, the atmosphere, the vibe.
I dont know about Zaks 'lazy' drumming...did you see the end of My Generation?! It was like Keith Moon jumped on the drums!

cmon , oasis finished , whatta a joke, oasis is still the best band in the world but what they really need now is make a great record , a classic one like DM, WTSMG, BHN, cause heathen and standing were very nice albums, but not really rock classics i think that oasis making a really classic album this year will result in media putting them up again, and nobody, fans and critics will doubt they' re still the best

havnt we heared all this before?? everytime oasis make a "comeback" they always get neagative press. i dont think oasis are every going to make new fans coz people either love them or hate them. And the music press sure hate them!! liam is getting older so obviously his voice isnt going to get higher is it? plus he smokes too much, and for the record noel has definintely improved as a guitarist, you can tell that with his solo's, especially during champagne supernova at glastonbury! live forever!!!

You've gotta be a fuckin student? C'mon admit it. oi, dont diss all students! =P lol, yeah some of em are wankers, but we all aren't *hopeful* and the ppl who did, you cant (well u CAN, but its sort of idiotic) just write off oasis after one gig, they're entitled to have a off night (even though it doesnt seem like a bad performance, just not as amazing live show as we have come to expect from them), didnt help that that night fell on their glasto performance after 10 years but anyway. i mean apparently the poole gig was amazing...not that i was actually at either ha ha, but it is kinda fun to respond to someone slagging of oasis, has given the rest of us an opportunity to go and defend our beloved band, lol
