I suspected Oasis were finished after there last album but last night confirmed it.
Liam's voice has nearly packed up, he struggled to hit high notes and whined his way through the set. Noel plucked away playing his usual 2 chords, badly.
The time has come for them to retire, new bands have come along with more zest and creativity like Franz Ferdinand who blew them away.
Oasis, thanks for the fantastic memories but your time is up , please come in.

agreed with u mate. i tried telling those daft vaginas on the hub that liams voice is shite now and nowl sucks also, they said his voice was amazing!! hahaha im sorry lads but they really need to call it a day. sorry

shame franz ferdinand dont contain any personalities though, not one band in the last ten years has a front man like Liam,, yeah his vocals were off but hey Jack White sings outta key every song as well..

Oasis are here to stay mofo's. Liam doesn't care how his voice sounds, that's what makes his songs 'his'! It still sounds as good as ever to me! I'm sure it's the same for everyone else!  Also, I think Liam was whizzed up....lol |

SOTSOG would have been perfect with a different tracklist though. |

i think its refreshing to see people on an oasis board actually slag em off and not be totaly up there arse. i might not agree with wot these people say but at least they ave the bollox to say it. in my opinion they aint finished. but i dont think there is anythin they can do now to make the media and non oasis fans like them, in that sense they r finished-the media hate them. but oasis will never be finished as long as they ave there fans who as some critic once said "are as loyal as milwall fans".

oasis finshed? ya having a laugh mate, their back and as rockin as ever. i saw them in poole on wednesday and they were just out of this world. they sounded on top form and liams vocals were spot on. the new songs sounded amazing and rocking and i so can't wait to their their new album. they are no way near to finshing, that band will live forever. What a load of bollocks. Liam's got the best voice in rock at the moment and has done for the past ten years. The band are looking good and the new stuff sounds promising, The Meaning Of Soul and A Bell Will Ring are shaping up to be classics. We need a band like Oasis more then anything at the moment. Their b-sides are better then alot of bands albums and their one of the best live bands in the world. If you want to give your view then thats cool, but if your gonna slag them of then do it somewhere else.  |

Well with a Rolling Stones like demand to see Oasis play live in Britain and their persistant following in Europe and even a cult following in America plus any album they record destined for multi-platinum status - remember Be Here Now sold over 7 million albums then their tax bill certainly won't be over

Typical fuckin students for ya aint it To me no other band who has played at Glasto this year rock n rolled like Oasis. I'll be honest....I couldn't be arsed listening to most of the other bands (apart from Kings Of Leon) coz they have nothing about them, no rockstars, no personalities, just bland 'sensible' music, WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO LISTEN TO THAT?!
