A bit of a down tempo set from oasis (apart from my generation). The slower song have been slowed down a little and the rest going back to their album origins.I don't mind this as Oasis have to stay fresh but why, in a very good version of DLBIA does Noel still resort to his macho two string solo when it didn't suit the song and Gem can do it so much better.

Don't know the full set list as bbc3 are delaying the broadcast to mix it in with other artists and are leaving out the new songs. The drumming is very much like the albums so it sounds a bit strange at first but the whole performance is of album standard. But on My Generation Zak's drumming is amazing!

Saw all the songs on BBC3 & 2 except the two new ones, Live Forever, Champagne Supernova and Acquiesce.
Got to say Liam was fantastic and the gig was absolutely brilliant, great stuff and Oasis were pretty damn close to their best! Good to see the electric version of the PROPER Wonderwall back!

Gutted to have missed Champ Supernova, Acquiesce, Live Forever & Cigs n Alcohol, it's a shame BBC3 couldn't have just shown the whole gig minus the two songs, can't see any reason whatsoever they couldn't!

yeh bbc3 made a rite arse of it, once goldphrapp took over on bbc3 u had to flick over to bbc 2 to catch cigs and alch. and flick back to bbc3 again.
bloody good gig tho liams voice was great, the proper wonderwall is back (non of the ryan adams shit). now just to get a bootleg from sum 1 so we can hear the new stuff parhaps in better quality than at poole

I managed to get the whole gig on video (bar the new songs! ) and the two interviews with Noel after the gig. I think their sound was spectacular. They've changed their sound a little bit if you listen hard enough. e.g during Wonderwall you can hear the organ/piano (whatever it is) very clearly and it brings the song up to a new level. Same as Champagne Supernova is more like the album version than ever, very chilled out and mellow.

For us didnt hear it or see it, what was the setlist? and how was the drumming? listening the songs. starkey sounds much better than at poole! not that he was shit there as some of you said! he's a great drummer with a lot of energy & it will be a shame if he doesn't join the band!

i thought the band sounded brilliant. andy bells bass was sounding fantastic. although i think liam needs to stay in tune. he was that great last nite. he really struggled at times.
