there is 1 hour on bbc 3 and 20 min highlights on bbc 2, or so ive been told. There should be more than 20 minutes worth on Friday night mate. The BBC always give extensive coverage of Glastonbury. There will be programs on during the day as well as at night. Im sure they will show a large bit of Oasis' set. Radio 1 also do extensive coverage of Glasto every year.

From the BBC website:-
Colin & Edith present Glastonbury Calling (BBC THREE week nights 8pm 14-24 June).
From Robbie Williams to Coldplay. From Oasis to Radiohead. The people who were there give a first hand account of defining Glastonbury moments. Festival performers will be playing live tracks in the studio.
BBC THREE and BBC TWO will be broadcasting live from Worthy Farm throughout the Festival weekend. A red button interactive service will supply vital Glastonbury information and, for the first time ever, live acts from the New Tent and Radio 1 dance coverage with a visual mix from VJ Kriel.
Radio 1 and 6 Music will be at the Festival as well as BBC TWO and BBC THREE. Full schedule details will be posted on the Glasto on TV & Radio section of this site.
For now, we can tell you that Jo Whiley, Colin & Edith, Vernon Kay, Scott Mills, Fergie, Fabio & Grooverider, Annie Nightingale, and Seb Fontaine will be there with Radio 1.
6 Music's coverage will concentrate on the New Tent, where future massive bands, The Concretes, Hope Of The States, Dogs Die in Hot Cars, Chikinki, The Killers and The Stills will all be playing.
For the first time, Glastonbury will be available on interactive TV. Digital TV viewers on BBC TWO and BBC THREE will be able to choose from a selection of Glastonbury performances by pressing red.
Mobile phone WAP and PDA services will offer news, performer and schedules information on the move. Another BBC first.
Across the BBC, online teams will be making sure that you receive news, features, performer profiles, competitions and photos of performers and key players right here, in depth and first.

so no coverage of the main stages There'll definitely be coverage of the Main Stage. The Friday night BBC2 programme will probably have live coverage of Oasis. Think that article was just highlighting the fact that they will be covering some of the smaller stages too. Nice sig by the way mate. A man after my own heart hehehe ;D

Can they have the new songs on radio or tv? I hope Im wrong but they might stop TV and radio from broadcasting any new stuff they play. When the '10 Years Of Noise And Confusion' gig from Glasgow Barrowlands was shown on Sky, they werent allowed to show the new Heathen Chemistry songs. But if BBC2 show part of their set live on Friday night I suppose they cant stop them showing any new stuff

The NME gives a pull out set list of all the glasto acts. oasis starts at 10.50pm, tv coverage starts at 7.00 to 10.00pm the starts again at 10.30 (oasis slot) until 2am. However digital peeps can just go to interactive and select which act they wanna hear
so fire up the dvd recorders..
