Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis on has popped up on the radio, saying Oasis are still all set for their Friday night headline slot, and that today's news was rubbish.

The BBC confirms Eavis' radio interview:

Emily Eavis has dismissed rumours that Oasis have pulled out of this year's Glastonbury Festival - and says the band are definitely still on the bill.
Stories began circulating this morning that the Gallagher Brothers and co had cancelled all other commitments after falling behind on the recording schedule of their new album.
But speaking exclusively to 6 Music earlier today, Emily says there's no truth in the story - and that's she's already booked the band's accommodation for their June weekend in Somerset.
Emily, who organises the festival along with father Michael, said: "Someone must have just made it up. They (Oasis) will be there, they're definitely on, nothing has changed. The rumours are different everyday at the moment!"
