they were a top band, their album newer album is brilliant.
richard ashcroft was one of the opening acts at the cricket ground manchester.

oasis opened for u2 for the US gigs, and u2 supported oasis back in england.

nope i'm sorry. correction: i mixed up rumours and reality. there have only been plans for u2 ca. 20 support slots in oasis' EU tour but they dint manage their schedules properly!
