Noel Gallagher has stamped his unique mark on Glastonbury today, after unceremoniously telling a photographer to "f*ck off" when he tried to take his picture, dotmusic can report.

The Oasis songwriter, long expected to make an appearance at this year's event, turned-up backstage at around 1pm with long-time girlfriend Sara McDonald.

Gallagher, rumoured to be planning to watch The Basement, The Stands and The Bandits this afternoon in the New Tent, entered the backstage press office and quickly forced his way to the front of the queue.

However, he was met with a fairly unimpressed reaction from a male press officer who asked him to wait his turn. A snapper from a weekly UK music magazine was then told where to go when he aimed his lens at the rock superstar.

Meanwhile, minutes later, dotmusic was also knocked-back, because Noel was "too busy" to give his opinion on this year's festival. He did find time, however, to sign autographs, including a toilet seat being to be auctioned by the charity Water Aid.
