just found this on bbc site:
Liam the Lyricist
Manchester's monkey nut Liam Gallagher has written a song about being banged up in the slammer.
The rebellious rocker wants to include the track, 'They Ain't Got Nothing On Me, They Ain't Got Nothing On You', on the next Oasis album. Playing the tune to The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey at one of last week's Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London, he told the Sun: "I'm really pleased with it but it's not finished."
With one line saying: "I'm out on bail, I'm out of jail, hear my song, sing along," it's the fifth tune to be penned by Liam and was inspired by his spell behind bars in Munich last December.
He really should leave the writing to Noel, right? We're dreading what the next verse contains. "My name is Liam, my eyes are Gre-an, clap your hands, my music's bland," anyone?

Turned out pretty crap that one, didn't it? I think it’s a nice little tune, especially live, but doesn’t fit DOYS as much as its other songs. It really should’ve been a B-side to Lyla instead. Also, the lyrics could do with some variety but at least it’s just perfect in length.

Turned out pretty crap that one, didn't it? I'd hate to hear what the unfinished version was like. Can't believe 5 years later they had to scrape the barrel so much they included it on DOYS. Why Noel didn't just wait for Liam to come back from his wedding to do the vocals of the other tracks I'll never know.

Live it sounds nice and they look like they having fun while peforming that. It feels out of place on DOYS, it should have been a b-side to Lyla indeed instead of Eyeball Tickler. That song should have replaced Mucky Fingers, which really is an awful song.

sounds COLOSSAL live and DOYS needed that old three chord rocker (as ComeOnOutside wasnt going to be there ANYways)

If there is such a thing, it's classic Liam. Short, to the point, and ballsy. It knows it's limitations and takes full advantage of them. Never got the hate for it.

It's really just the I Can See a Liar of DOYS. A short, full-on rocker that doesn't really belong on its album, but is rather enjoyable.

As someone said, it's colossal live! The album version is alright

Listening DOYS today, I came up with idea that Noel was just angry about Liam's marriage that's why he added worst songs of this era to final album list. Liam's refusing was so shocking for Noel so he decided not to include Come On Outside and Record Machine even in demo versions with his own voice. And there was video (around spring 2008) talking with Liam aboul leaving band, maybe it also had an influence for this choice. This change of themes from depressing but strong 1st part of album to 'all I want is the truth' Ain't Got Nothing and strange shit with Nature Of Reality is very contrasting - probably both should be B-sides to Shock Of The Lighting and I'm Outta Time (or Come On Outside and Record Machine if both were supposed to be singles). So... I like Ain't Got Nothing, little Liam rocker and it's good live but yeah, now it's obvious that adding this and Nature Of Reality is not because of 'must-be on album' thing

Stop The Clocks Record Machine Come On Outside vs NOReality AGN HighHorseLady I think STC and RM fit the album just as much as AGN (not very) but I enjoy them more, so I'd definitely want AGN gone. Although I understand what they wanted to do with HHL, the execution is just simply mediocre, so I'd wave good bye to that one as well. But I'll be very honest with you, I'v always thought that TNOR was a nice little addition to the album and it really matches the style of DOYS, so I really wouldn't want to see it replaced by either STC or RM. COO is really just the ultimate DOYS track, it obviously gets a place in the list, and so I'm left with only one spot to spare on the album and 2 very similar songs competing. The only thing that's decisive for me is that, had everything went to plan during the recording sessions, RM would've been sung by Liam, and let's be real for a moment - who doesn't prefer a Liam-sung track over any Noel-sung one? It's just got to be RM.

I thought it was bullshit when The S*n printed it so when the absolute boy leaked it I was pretty shocked. Still don't understand what public service the BBC is providing by reporting "lol look how shit Liam Gallagher is at writing lyrics" though.

agree about TNOR. hate it at first, took me many years to appreciate it.
and don't forget Boy Wih The Blues was still laying around, shame it was a BONUS track only.
WHAT IF Liam had known (Noel knew, didn't he?) the band was to split up, a release of this song under his name after the break up would have been mega.
1. Boy With The Blues 2. I Believe In All
could have kept it for Beady Eye anyway. they NEEDED it
and then take a break and come back

I like the songs but they should've worked a bit more on the ending. When I first got into Oasis I was listening to them exclusively on YouTube. I'd pop in a recommended song of theirs, usually the biggest hits, and then just listen to whatever came up after that automatically. When I was listening to them more and more, less popular songs began to come up, and this is how I got to know TBWTB too. Without ever checking the release dates of the songs I was listening to, I genuinely thought for about half a year that TBWTB was a song from one of their 90's albums. It's good. But it should've been better.

The demo that leaked in 2008 is FAR better than the final product we got on DOYS.
Had that demo been on the rumoured Boy With The Blues EP in 2006 it would have been remembered among Liams better Oasis tracks. It has far more bite.
The Boy With The Blues EP really needed to come out towards the end of the DBTT tour/cycle. It would have given Liam a ton of songwriting confidence and continued to push sales for DBTT.
1. Boy With The Blues 2. Record Machine 3. ANDY TUNE 4. Nothin On Me (Ain't Got Nothin) 5. GEM TUNE 6. Stop The Clocks

If I had to say one positive thing about the song, it would be that the production is great. The backing vocals and the chaotic sound effects make it maaad.
