the best album is his first one "Elvis Presley". next to that there are "elvis" and "aloha from hawaii". other than that you might get the #1 collection "elvis 30 #1 hits" the one with the golden cover.
check "This Is elvis"-documentary even though it uses actors
...oh, and
- John Lennon

cheers for that
oh, and elvis was both born and released his album before john lennon

the quote was from John Lennon, hes not saying John lennon was before elivis etc
and yes their was, but sadly all the artists that made that type of music were Black, and God forbid middle America bought the records of Black people making music you could dance to.

I NEED TO LOOK INTO THE DOCUMENTARY I SAW ABOUT HIMM.. IT SHOWED HIS IMPACT ON MUSIC AND THE WORLD.. amazing,... whether it was his music or not.. he delivered it to the masses and it changed people's very realities.. all the mega artists said they got into music cos of him.. lennon, bowie,,, the lot as you say... Artist of the century is the best compilation. Also check out his Sun records Sessions CD it is rock n roll at its rawest earliest form. The best Elvis concert DVD would be One Night with You his "unplugged" sit down portion of his 68 comeback special. I dare anyone to watch that performance and tell me they have seen a better live performer than the King.

i have seen hundreds of better performers than the king. let me guess? razorlight? razorlight are one of many, im sorry but i just don't get what people see in elvis his music shit and his acting worse. As for the without elvis things would be so different, i think its crap, he may have been one of the first but someone similar would have existed in the 50's it was always going to happen.

Was this account actually saying Razorlight were better performers than Elvis? I assumed they were banned for this.
