It was Dixon who recommended me The Lemonheads on here more than 10 years ago. "It's A Shame About Ray" is a timeless album and "My Drug Buddy" is a class tune.

^btw, that's juliana hatfield on the cover of the album. another local boston artist. i believe she plays bass on much of the record. true story, back in high school i was in the studio audience of a local talk show here in boston, i'd say around 1991-1992.... she was a guest on the show and performed 'it's a shame about ray' on acoustic guitar. however, i was too young at the time to fully appreciate it. thanks.

I always have the image in my head that a boy and a girl walking down in sunset when I listen to My Drug Buddy. Great song is that.
By the way, one of my all time favourite band, Frightened Rabbit covered "Confetti". This is an acoustic version by the front man Scott Hutchinson:
I'm not a very fan of this version to be honest. The one they did with the whole band was much better.
