from XFm X-clusive: Stereophonics Announce London Date After weeks of gossip and rumour, Xfm can now finally reveal the venue for Stereophonics secret intimate London date taking place tonight. As previously reported, the band have been playing a week’s worth of secret intimate gigs across the UK since Monday January 24. The venues have been kept secret until the day of the concert. So far the band have played The Life Café in Manchester, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow and The Point in Cardiff. Tickets for the event have only been available to competition winners, fanclub members registered at www.stereophonics.com and those of you who entered our special competition here at Xfm Online. But until now the venue itself has been a secret. Now Xfm can reveal that the next scheduled live date taking place in London tonight (January 28) will be at The Garage in Highbury Corner, Islington, North London. Those of you who registered on www.xfm.co.uk this week will know by now if you've won (well done). Doors open at 7:30pm and the band will be on by 8:30pm (so get there early) to play a selection of songs from their forthcoming album 'Language, Sex, Violence, Other?' as well as a load of their hits. There is one more secret date taking place at an undisclosed venue in Dublin on Saturday January 29. Keep checking Xfm Online for more details. Stereophonics new single 'Dakota' will be released on February 28, and 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?' hits shops on March 13, both through V2 Records. The full running order of 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?' is: ‘Superman’ ’Doorman’ ’Brother’ ’Devil’ ’Dakota’ ’Rewind’ ’Pedalpusher’ ’Girl’ ’Lolita’<br>’Deadhead’ ’Feel’
