Well i had to take my Urban Hymns album back yesterday (my first one fell out of my walkman and got scratched so i bought a new CD... That CD didn't work in my Hi-Fi (well done there Hitachi!) so i wanted to trade it for a differnet one. I got the ladt Urban Hymns in the shop so i traded it for the second coming it strikes me, it's very different from the first Stone Roses album... the music is like the Seahorses and Ian's vocals are like a cross between his new singing voice and Liam's as it is at the moment. Good album anyway

I reckon the second coming is better than their first one. John Squire's playing is amazing on it (Driving South, Love Spreads etc....), even if it does get milked at times.

2nd coming isn't the worst album ever made... but its lightyears away from their first album (which happens to be the best album ever made)
Has its moments such as 10 storey love song, begging you & love spreads but is ruined my Squires jimmy pageisms. Everything which made the roses so good five years before had been taken away.
For me its only a 7/10 album... where as their debut is the most perfect 40'odd minutes of music ever created.
