What's his best solo album? I have solarized, wanna get some more of the older stuff. Which should I get now? I saw 'Cant see me' (i think) on telly there, and I liked it.

All his albums are fuckin great, id rank Solarized as his best though. Just my own opinion though. If you can only get one though, get Music of the Spheres, brilliant album.

Absolutley love Northern Lights, FEAR, Neptune etc
Bought Golden Greats, Music of the Spheres and Solarized. Worth every penny!
Never really listened to anyone besides Oasis.. But through Noel and Ian's single.. Opened up a whole new type of music for me! And now, I love Bape camo.. lol

His first three solo albums are all worth purchasing even if there are dud tracks on all three.
His first solo album has some classics like Corpses, what happened to you & Mr Star, but is let down by tunes that are shoddy like Lions. But it's a decent debut considering it was Ians first attempt on his own and he actually learnt most of the intruments by himself when demo'ing for the record.
Music Of The Spheres is top notch, but theres also a remix record of the same album where half the tracks from the original are bettered... One day i will get around to making a cd of the best versions of each song from the two records.
But for me Golden Greats is the best solo record he's done, minus a couple of crap tunes towards the end it really is fantastic. Includes my favourite Ian solo tune Golden Gaze & is full of other great tunes such as gettin' high and Dolphins Were Monkeys.
So i'd say golden greats personally.
