Anyone here heard the 1 minutes snippet from u2exit?
For a supposedly guitar heavy album it sound very "Poor man's October" like. It's about Bono's dad
I'm starting to think that all the hype about HTDAAB is trying to compensate for something

I know that some people are getting a bit overhyped about it, but does anyone here genuinely believe that U2 have sold out with their ipod stuff and recent licensing agreements with TV shows?
I know that to be the biggest band in the world, selling out always helps, but when they're claiming to have made a "punk rock" album it seems a little hypocritical.
Any thoughts?
That song is growing on me now by the way, you have to hear the whole thing to appreciate it

U2 sold out long ago, ever since the joshua tree they've been nothing but shit. They've had a few good tunes since then but nothing amazing. Bono needs to get out of the polotics and get back to making cd's like boy and war, now those are some dam good cd's.
