I saw the Killers on Letterman a few days ago and the lead singer sounded awful (totally flat) I am going to see them this weekend and i am scared that these guys need to be in the studio to sound good. I know that talk-show stages don't make for the best sound (oasis never really sound that great on leno and letterman) but i'm telling you flowers sounded real bad. Has anyone seen them live, and if so how were they?

I've not seen them live myself.....but plenty of people i know saw them at V and said they were fantastic. where are you going to see them? cos if watchin the letterman show put you off them that badly....then, well....i would quite happily take them off your hands ;D

I saw them at T In The Park, and I didn't think much of them really, but I don't like them anyway.
My friend (who does like them) said he was a bit disappointed.
I don't think it was a bad performance, just not hugely exciting.

I saw them a few months ago in a small club in Providence, RI and they were good. It was sold-out, very loud and was note-for-note off of the cd. IMHO, I really like it. Hope this helps, Twice
