Bullshit, I hear it all the time. And since when has rap got anything to do with tolerance. And I do determine what is a legitimate form of music, because I said so, so suck my English cock! this isnt reasonable at all. And its not rap music thats got anything to do with tolerance. Its the fact that if you like another genre, you tolerate the fact that there are other genres and people who like these genres. accept it. |

FACT: The people at the festival were both likely
ENGLISH
and
DICKHEADS
when you put em together however everyone got in a storm cos they took it personally. if you are gonna tell me that most of the people booing were not dickheads and were not english, you are simply WRONG.

reading is a rock festival!
anything that is not rock gets bottled off! thats the rule and it is a simple rule that has been followed for two decades and everyone knows that rule. simple.
these days the record companies book bands that aint rock knowing that they will be bottled off the stage and get tons and tons of media.
iron maiden= good.
bjork=very bad.
twisted sister=good.
scissor sisters=really really bad.
motorhead=very good.
robby williams=dead man walking.
see, a simple and basic rule that everyone can understand.
50 bucks is even more famous now thanks to the record label using that unbreakable rule and tons of free publicity.

I thought Mozza was at Reading   and Morrissey doesn't deserved to get bottled off, this man has written some of the best song lyrics ever! absolute legend in my eyes. It's the untalented that get bottled off and deserve it. |

Yes its a Rock festival but go through the thread again, i named a few acts aswell as the whole of the comedy tent who arent ROCK MUSIC.

I mean, why can bands like Wu Tang, N*E*R*D etc play at Oxegen over in Ireland and nobody thinks anything of it, if they dont like them they just dont go to see them. They dont waste their time and actually go to see a band that they like. |

Lets be honest about it, chances are that 90-95% of the people booing were english. Just because of the sheer amount of people at the festival, 95% of them are going to be english. And other nations seem to have respect for musicians, you dont hear of him being booed off stage at any other festivals? Very rarely happens ud be suprised people travel all over the world to watch bands especialy in a big festival like reading |
