Being an immense fan of Joy Division and Echo and the Bunnymen, it was surprising to find another band like Interpol who can create atmosphere and lovely soundscapes in their music. Songs like "The New" and "Leif Erikson." I could go on raving like a hunting magazine columnist loaded on methamphetamines, but I'll stop for now. Do you fancy Interpol? Yay or nay.

yah man, interpol are incredible, it seems people either absolutley love them or dispise them. But they can make some tunes that are out of this world, i cant wait for teh second album.

The second album already leaked on Soulseek. It's called Antics. Not as great as Turn On The Bright Lights but it's a worthy follow-up.

The debut album was fantastic, you just gotta love Obstacle 1... or any other track, really
I like that dark feeling about them, kinda "floating in space" atmosphere
Haven't heard the new album though
