Scissor Sisters’ glam-rockin top five debut album has sold an incredible 300,000 copies to date. Critics have been unanimous in their praise for the album, with the influential Sunday Times Style magazine waxing lyrical: “Scissor Sisters are the name – and soundtrack – to drop at every dinner party.”<br> Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis and Paddy Boom are currently preparing for their first North American tour, having recently been signed to Universal Records in the States. That says it all really. I tend to avoid any bands described in this way by pretentious, poncy journalists.
They're basically saying, I've decided this band are cool, so if you talk about them it will make you seem cool too. People seem to be more interested in them poncing around on stage, than their music.
I go to a gig to see a band play their music, if I wanted to see a fantastic stage show, I'd go to the theatre.
Also the fact that they are gay seems like it's being used to sell them. I don't care about other peoples private lives, I'm just interested in the music.
If the music is good enough, you don't need all that shit.

saw em at glastonbury they wern't that good, i dont like em at all really, not my thing. There guitarist was good though but he had an outfit on that was truly unforgivable.

dont try to like a band if you dont like them but people around you are liking them a lot!
if you dont like a band then just say that you dont like them.
hell, i think jet are shit after the one good song that they have!
nothing wrong with saying the scissor sisters are shit if you want to say that!
