scorpions are an old heavy metal band. not even worth a thought. BAP are from my hometown and are in fact oasis fans. i think they are as old as the scorpions (> 20 yrs.) but their music is totally different tho... it's soft rock basicly. Wir sind Helden is germany's biggest rock or indie music act at the moment. frontwoman is the very interesting Judith Holofernes. The Beatstakes: punk.Donots: theyre trying to be punk but what they actually provide is plain alternative shit.
Guano Apes: post-grunge. very popular at the end of the 90s...always been crap. their guitarist once criticized oasis for being untalented and too... rude

rammstein. no comment. Sportfreunde Stiller is another good guitar band that came up recently..their singer has not a typical r'n'r voice but their melodies are fine..i'm trying to think of other new bands....of course. Tomte: probably the only german band that produces acceptable german lyrics..very new and big oasis fanatics
