Washed out Scott meets double chinned Slash.... Just saw them perform live on Letterman... not bad comes to mind , but not great too.. Don't know much about the new quintet yet, though there is actually a silly rumour on one of their forums that they will tour with Oasis in 05

hey, when you mix the two greatest voices of the 1990s- scott weiland and liam gallagher- that tour's GOTTA be good.
i heard them. not amazing, but not terrible either. we probably set our standards way too high. stp and the original gnr? it had to have been unbelievable. however, the outcome came off a little short. i do look forward to better material coming out in the future though.

Im a huge gnr fan and scott weiland doesn't cut it for me. One of the things most people dont know (although some do) about gnr is that the 2 main songwriters were not axel and slash, it was axel and izzy stradlin. Without either of those 2 I think velvet revolver is dooomed tho I hope Im proven wrong cuz slash is an amazing guitarist

they look like a pack of pricks. One of my buddies at work saw them perform last night...said they looked like the village people and wished he had sold his ticket. I think he said "i'd rather shoot myself with a revolver then see them again"...

one thing: never take american billboard charts seriously. for example: ricky martin, "rico suave", backstreet boys, 50 cent, and n sync were all #1's. that's just the tip of the iceberg. hell, even the friends theme song was #1.

Does anyone remember when Mr Blobby was number 1, and bob the builder. Its shocking.

u all just shut up. does anyone remember this fella ? 8 weeks #1 here btt: weilandt truly is a good singer. and slash still belongs to one of the best guitarists ever. the thing that this band obviously lacks is decent songwriting

the thing that this band obviously lacks is decent songwriting The album is pretty good actually, it doesn't compare to Appetite for Destruction, but it is a lot better than a lot of other music out at the moment.
