I read about Ryan Adams on a thread on this site. A bought Gold and think its brilliant. I bought Rock and Roll but didn't really think much of that.
Love is Hell is being released as a full album (I think), does anyone own the EP's? Are they any good? What type of music is it? like the slow stuff on Gold or the faster stuff on Rock and Roll?

IMO love is hell part 1 and 2 is his finest work. its really well put together and the tunes are just brilliant. there is his version of wonderwall on love is hell part 1. the reason why it is realsed in a full album format now, is because he orginally wanted it like that, but the record company said no. so he put it out in 2 EP's. and now he has his own label hes put it in full album form, the way it was ment to be.
go buy it, you'll thank me for it! its only £9.99 (HMV)

Yeah pretty good album...I own Love Is Hell Pt. 1 and Rock N Roll Star, and i prefer Love is Hell...Really mellowed out songs...It's a real downer when listening to it when going through some rough patches in the "relationship dept." Standout songs for me were: Political Scientist , the shadowlands and avalanche (best song for me) his cover of wonderwall was pretty interesting too...

its called ''rock n roll''. no star at the end of it. him and his best friend johnny b (drummer) did all that album by themsevles. he only realeased it because the record company wanted it out. ryan adams and his record company dont get on very well.
