GARY POWELL, drummer with one of britains most exciting new bands, the libertines has accepted an offer to temp with punk rock originals The New York Dolls.

The band will be playing at London's Royal Festival Hall between June 11-27 for the Meltdown festival. Dont worry libs fans though he'll be playing back with them at the same festival as support for Morrissey

This thread is ten years old....

Yesterday, on facebook, a page I LIKE shared that Buster Poindexter pic and I wanted to post it on the forum because the New York Dolls/Buster Poindexter are great.

I considered posting it in the 'say anything to get your post up' thread' but I searched 'New York Dolls' instead and this thread is one thread that resulted, so I posted it here.

The fact that the Libertines drummer is associated is just a bonus because the Libertines are fucking awesome, too.

I'll delete my forum account if necessary.

I didn't know this thread started 10 years ago and I really thought the drummer from The Libertines joined The New York Dolls which left me 100 times of

?. The New York Dolls only showes up in my eyes at Moz gig on the screen.
