I've been wondering this about the libertines too. A few members recommended some songs of theirs to download, one of which was "Time for Heroes"

great song - i've played it about 5 times a day for the past few weeks! ;D really is a great tune. But some of their other songs arent that special. If anyone can tell me any of their songs which are as good as Time for Heroes then i'll download them?

I also like "For lovers" which is sung by Pete Doherty (singer/guitarist of the libertines) and its also a current fave on my playlist

i like the whole pete doherty story - all the stuff about him going to jail was too funny. And he even posts on his bands website which is pretty cool. He could be someone to look out for...bit of a legend in the making

i like dont look back in to the sun and time for heros. Pete Doherty is the closest thing weve got to a new genuine rock star at the moment aswell. Although some of there songs are pretty shite and because the group are all on smack and are so volatile then i really doubt there ability to make a brilliant album...

Highlights for me are Time for Heroes, Tell it to the King and Up the Bracket. The best Libertines song is in my opinion Dont Look Back into the Sun. For some reason it isn't on the album.
