i know this is a rock forum but i was just wondering if anybody felt like me and was curious as to how a Jack White produced Loretta Lynn album would sound like? To be honest, i have not heard or listened to any of Ms. Lynn's previous albums but hey...if she had such a profound influence on the development of the White Stripes' sound..i figured she must be worth a listen...what do you guys think?

I might look for a sample of a song, I won't be buying the cd to listen for the producer's influence. I've never listened to LL but I'm a fan of the WS and especially of Jack White's songwriting.

hahaha...Yeah to be honest it was Mr. Whites influence that got me to pick up the album...surprisingly enough it's actually pretty good if you listen to it with an open mind..Not too much honky-tonk stuff...I liked portland oregon, womens prison, portland oregon and the sap in me would recommend van lear rose..Her voice is pleasing enough i just dont like it when she goes into a falsetto too much haha...but yeah it's growing on me
