I've recently become a huge fan of The Damned after hearing "Damned Damned Damned" and "Machine Gun Etiquette". What other albums of theirs are worth getting?

From what I've heard (I've got their 'New Rose'. Fun-tastic) they're anything but rap. Rocking

Umm... they're old school punk. They came out with The Sex Pistols and The Clash. A song on "Damned Damned Damned" called "New Rose" was the first released British punk single (what can I say, I love reading linear notes). "Damned Damned Damned" came out in '77 and "Machine Gun Etiquette" came out in '79.

likkety likkety split! too many hamburg s&m clubs again starfish?
thought so.
the first damned album was recorded on an old 8-track and they used old valve amps and guitars from the early sixties.
the drumming on it is breathtaking, very early moon.
the album sounds like it was recorded in the early sixties but still sounds fresh and modern to this day.
i think it was put down in a couple of days and the tapes used to record it were the tapes that elvis costello cut his orig demos on.
theres faint echoes of him between the songs because he wasnt completely wiped from the master tape.
lets face it, oasis and the clash cut their first albums over 48 hours and those albums have the same classic quality to them.
more tongue now starfish?
should i wear the rubber mask with the zip in it?
