A London photographer has accused Coldplay singer Chris Martin of attacking him outside a restaurant on Wednesday night, BBC News reports.

Martin and his pregnant wife Gwyneth Paltrow were leaving the San Lorenzo restaurant in Knightsbridge when the alleged attack occurred.

According to a Coldplay spokesman, photographer Alessandro Copetti tripped while running after Paltrow's taxi. Copetti claims that he was taking photos of the couple when Martin kicked him from behind.

This is not the singer's first run-in with the paparazzi. Martin was charged with malicious damage for allegedly attacking a photographer's car in Australia last year, but the charges were later dropped.
