Kylie Minogue has ignited a new battle of the pop babes by claiming she is better than chart rival Beyonce.

And she did not stop there: Minogue thinks both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are too raunchy in their videos.


The singer was on the stage at the London GAY venue at the weekend and shouted out to the audience: "I'm better than Beyonce."

Two thousand people saw her sing her new single Red Blooded Woman but were disappointed that she defied rumours of a wedding proposal on stage.

They hoped she would propose to boyfriend Olivier Martinez - but it was not to be.

After the concert, Minogue spoke about steamy videos produced by rivals.

She said she had watched Spears' and Aguilera's efforts before making a video for Slow.

She told the Daily Star: "I hadn't seen any music videos in a while so I watched some and said: 'I'm not doing that.'

"I've always been on the right side of the line," she added.
