Anybody give these guys a listen? I like them..they're an american based band..their old sound was pop-rock but now they've gone the "Strokes" route with garage rock and their latest album is Self-titled which is in my opinion a great pick-up...anybody else have an opinion on this band? Their old drummer is cousins with the frontman for rooney i think...

REALLY!?!? thats pretty cool, gives them some cred, however since he's no longer in the band i still don't like them. They seem very sissy, they're nothing more than pop.

Yeah...I dunno i guess their reps are as softies..lol but arent coldplay like that as well? hehe...They're a good band i met them at a signing over at virgin megastore in sf....And they were good nice people...I think Rooney might be more soft then them actually...hehe Well to give them more street cred the ex-drummer is Jason Schwartzmann the dude from "Spun" and "Rushmore" and one of the other bandmates was in the movie the Goonies..lol..Their fanbase is predominantly girls so it did make for an odd feeling when i was standing in line to get their autograph..but all in a bunch of nice fellas you can say...if any of you have the free time check out their songs Big Brat, Badd Business and BY the Bed...Good songs
