Eric Clapton is shit? You don't know music. Oasis is great, but Clapton's musical talent it 10 times both Noel and Liam. I really don't see how you can call one of the best guitarists ever shit.

"he can play guitar" understatement of the century there! Clapton is an awesome player, and great songwriter imo. and i think he can sing reasonably well. i like the tone of his voice was the Clapton Unplugged album taken from an MTV session?? i like the album but have never seen Clapton on MTV unplugged. so my faves are... 1. REM (2nd appearance) 2. REM (first appearance) 3. Nirvana went for nirvana over Oasis because their session has a buzz about it. it is a legendary gig

he can play guitar very well thats it imo, cant sing cant write. If i want to listen to great guitar players i also think there are many better players then him....
in no order (other then page and hendrix)
Jimi Hendrix Jimmy Page Slash Johnny greenwood John Squire Johny Marr George harrison Keith Richards the edge bb king dave gilmour Brian May Joe satriani
ok, before you say anything i am well aware that clapton may have better guitar playing ability then someone like john squire or johny greenwood (and a few others in the list), i just think these two guitarists have there own original sound which i dont think clapton has.

i was dreading nirvanas performance thinking that it could go pearshaped but it was a stunning performance.
just shows the raw talent that was nirvana! untapped and gone forever.
