320033 is the chord of "g" the numbers represent the fret on the particular string you are supposed to push down. The numbers are in order of the low "E" string first.
so songbird is G em7 320033 022033
dunno if that helps its difficult to explain

i.e.002210 (Am) e( thinest string)-0 B--------------------1 G--------------------2 D--------------------2 A --------------------0 E---------------------0 the number means where you must push the string.

yeah guitar tab is difficult to explain, but once you learn it you will have no problems learning new chords and solos etc
like columbia says, the numbers represent frets on the corresponding strings. So-
String EADGBE Fret 320033
is the G chord. A is 002220 D is 000212
try some websites for complete tab guides. there are some great sites around for beginners

yeh i just mean the idea of tablature is difficult to explain. Songbirds probably oasis's easiest song. Just two chords the whole way through.
