Outkast have topped a year-end poll of polls to land the album of the year.
Speakerboxx/The Love Below did better than any other album in magazine "best of 2003" lists.

1. Outkast - Speakerboxx/Love Below
2. Dizzee Rascal - Boy In Da Corner
3. Mars Volta - Deloused In The Comatorium
4. White Stripes - Elephant
5. The Darkness - Permission To Land
6. Radiohead - Hail To The Thief
7. Rapture - Echoes
8. Blur - Think Tank
9. Four Tet - Rounds
10. The Strokes - Room On Fire
11. Super Furry Animals - Phantom Power
12. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever To Tell
13. Muse - Absolution

well that list is mostly diabolical but hey. Mars Volta are apparantly the remnants of At the Drive In? if they are then i am glad i havent heard them....
i've heard Hey yaaaaaaaa Hey yaaaaaa aaaaaaaa a lot lately - so who wrote that one? outkast or was it part of this solo double album thing or whatever?
good tune. i remember some of you guys recommended it ages ago. the bass section makes it, i think
i'd say Hey Ya, Crazy in Love by Beyonce, Rock your Body by Trousersnake, and 'I believe in a Thing called love' were probs the best pop songs of 2003. the most memorable anyway.
Bad Day by REM, Seven Nation Army by Ze Wheis Stripen, Zephry Song by the Chillis and Clocks by Chris Martin... erm i mean Coldplay.... were my best rock songs
Well that was my end of year poll ;D

They have recreated music, dont ever judge something before you hear it! hehe hey ok i won't pre-judge them too much! but a friend of mine once described at the drive in as the best band ever..... and in my opinion they should be eliminated from history so i'm not expecting much from Mars Volta, but i shall see
