it is crap, cos hes working on a new album, and is currently touring. so the rumour was not of course true! not for the time being anyway..

As much as i'd like to see it happen i doubt it will. I think if it would have happened, they would have done it in the 90's.

yea, and the 90's were when weller kicked off his solo carrer. which has been brilliant. his albums have been really good.

apprarently the 3 were spotted sitting round a table chatting. thats all ive heard Is that irregular? for a band who've known and played together to talk in a pub?

I hate when that happens. Just because old band members get together for a few laughs doesn't really mean anything. It seems after a band breaks up, if you even say hi to a former bandmate on the phone, the press gets wind of it and turns it into talk of a reunion. I mean I'd love to see The Jam reform and go out on tour (I was born too late to see them in their heyday) but it doesn't look like they'll be getting back together for one simple reason: people move on with their lives. Weller has his own thing going as I'm sure Foxton and Buckler have things that they're doing. The press should stop trying to induce false hope on us that only gets us upset at our music heroes when we learn they won't reform.
