I thought I'd put it in this forum because it's other bands covering Oasis rather than the other way round!

Anyway, what covers of Oasis songs have you been really impressed with. Personally I'm quite fond of Acquiesce by Good Charlotte. Of course it has nothing on the original and pales in comparison, but it's still a great song and they perform it quite well!

The Coldplay covers of Live Forever and Songbird aren't up to much but I like them as a band. Ryan Adams cover of Wonderwall is OK but a bit overrated IMO, the Counting Crows acoustic version of Supersonic is excellent aswell.

And as for the Wurzels cover of Don't Look Back in Anger. Now we know what Oasis would have sounded like if they'd grown up on a farm rather than in Manchester ;D
