Why won't the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induct The Sex Pistols? This is the fifth or sixth year they've been eligible and haven't gotten in. The Ramones, The Clash, The Police, Elvis Costello (not all punk) have all gotten in. The Sex Pistols were very influential, a great band, and more than deserve to get in! What's keeping them from getting in?!

Hey Now- I have seen worse hairdos on some of the more recent female singers ...

It is a shame, they should be inducted, most definitely a huge influence and a great band..

lol, i wread last week that johny rotten is going on the new series of "im a celebrity get me out of here" apparently he'll be stuck in the jungle with Jordan stan collymore and george bests wife, alex i think her name is. That should be funny i think h'ell cause a bit of trouble with that lot

the pistols changed the face of music in a matter of months.

they had four singles and one album. they sparked off a revolution in music which is felt to this day.

the bands that were inspired by them are legion and i would include u2 and rem in there.

the first oasis album owes more to the pistols than the beatles thats a fact!

the front man "liam" is the best front man since johnny rotten in british music.

fuck your hall of fame, it means nothing to real music!

the clash are in there but they were pure rock n roll from 77-79 then they went to america and got corrupted and watered down.

sadly, they are in there for rocking the casbah rather than garage land!

the pistols changed my life!

when i die and get to rock n roll heaven i bet elvis will be playing in the seedy bar down the road with the pistols as his backing band and john lennon will be sitting having a beer green with envy!

I think more or less every good rock "n" roll band since 1977 were inspired by the sex pistols.
