Michael Jackson's father will admit to having whipped his pop star son in an upcoming BBC interview. ( i know i shouldn't laugh but its just that image...)
Joe Jackson, in a documentary to be broadcast in the UK this weekend, explains: "I whipped him with a switch and a belt. I never beat him. You beat someone with a stick."
Speaking to journalist Louis Theroux, Jackson also says he does not care about his son's alleged plastic surgery and claims that he "can't stand gay people".
According to the BBC, the interview was conducted in a hotel room in the US and overseen by Majestik Magnificent - a man who claims to be Michael Jackson's personal magician.
During the interview Joe Jackson tells Theroux he doesn't like the way the British media refer to his son as 'Wacko Jacko', pointing out that in the US, "wacko" means crazy.
Jackson is also shown to be defensive of his son's (allegedly surgically altered) nose, stating that Michael "can do whatever he likes" with his nose, but refusing to discuss the matter further.
Elsewhere, Theroux asks Jackson whether he wishes he son had a partner, describing the term to mean "boyfriend or girlfriend",
"What are you trying to say, that Michael's gay?" intervenes Majestik, before claiming that the question is disrespectful to Joe Jackson.
"We don't believe in gays. I can't stand them," says Jackson, before calling an end to the interview.
The show - 'Louis, Martin and Michael' - will be aired on BBC 2 at 9pm (GMT) this Sunday, November 16.
