From NME.com
PAUL WELLER has officially denied rumours THE JAM are to reform.
While Weller toured the US, speculation was flying about a possible Jam reunion, and series of gigs at Knebworth.
However, returning from his US tour yesterday morning (October 31), Paul issued a statement, which reads: "Following continued speculation about the reformation of The Jam culminating in five nights at Knebworth next summer.. Paul Weller would like to take this opportunity to stamp out these rumors and dismiss them as 'Bollocks'."
As previously reported on NME.COM Weller plans to release a covers album entitled 'Forty Days And Forty Nights' in 2004. He is currently rehearsing for his European tour, which begins in two weeks.
His UK tour dates are as follows:
Bristol Colston Hall (December 5) Portsmouth Guildhall (6) Birmingham Carling Academy (7) Belfast Waterfront Hall (9) Dublin Olympia (10) London Brixton Academy (14/15) London Shepherds Bush Empire (Shelter Charity gig) (16)
