pick your top ten of all time and dont be afraid of what people think about your choices.
dont pick what you think might be cool to others.
pick what you just like.

Elvis "olivers army" Costello?? with his one and only good song?? ;D to each his own......
ok i'll do mine. the order changes all the time, but i'm gonna attempt to put them in order
1. REM 2. Pink Floyd 3. Oasis 4. The Stone Roses 5. Paul Weller 6. Sting/Police 7. The Smiths 8. The Lightning Seeds 9. Wilco 10. Eric Clapton/Cream etc 11. Britney Spears
it feels weird not to have the Beatles in there - but i just don't listen to them that much, to be honest. Real Love is on my current playlist, but thats it

favourite songs, not bands!
i cant bear to say that i like oasis better than the clash but ill try to bite my lip and be totally honest to myself here. ok, here goes...
1. oasis. ugh! (hate to admit that one)
2.the clash.
3.nirvana.
4.iggy & the stooges.
5. the ramones.
6. led zeppelin.
7. slade.
8. the klf.
9. the sex pistols.
10. elvis.
not very brit pop or mod but i see oasis as a rock n roll band that owes more the pistols than the fab four!

cool shadowboxer.
elvis and ac/dc. el as the frontman of that band would have been very cool indeed.

I don't really have a top ten as I'm finding a lack of consistancy in what I'm listening to. Oasis is deff one of my ten, but as I like an occasional song here and there I can't pin point any others
