I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about The Jam and many have recommended them since I'm a huge fan of The Who, Oasis, The Clash, and The Police. Which album would be great to pick up for a beginner like myself? Also, I've been a huge fan of The Sex Pistols and The Clash and The Ramones but they're getting a bit tiresome. What other punk bands from that time are worth listening to? I'll be damned if I have to listen to poser punk garbage but I do want to continue my interest into real punk rock.
